Digitally empowering local retail
Offline-first point of sale for kirana shops, grocery, and pharmacy —
built so merchants keep selling when the network drops, and so builders
can experiment with camera, barcode,
and AI vision on real store workflows.

What it is today
- Store owner POS: scan barcodes, cart, cash & credit checkout
- Local sales outbox + sync when online
- Catalog, inventory, vendors, expenses, simple reports
- Grocery and pharmacy-oriented flows (lots / expiry where enabled)
- Sign-in: Phone OTP (Facebook planned later)
Where we’re headed (open for variation)
Earlier prototypes pointed at a future where on-device camera and AI
help with price tags, shelves, invoices, and product registration —
not as a black box, but as something the community can fork, train,
and adapt for regional retail.
- Barcode + price-tag OCR paths that work offline where possible
- Optional cloud vision for vendor invoices and basket photos
- Telemetry and datasets shaped for South Asian store items
- Room for your own models, pipelines, and store types
Restricted release
The Android app is rolling out in a restricted Play
track while we harden auth, sync, and security. Camera and AI paths are
built so future open experiments are possible; the commercial app and
source stay private for now.
